September 25 - 7:00 (Federated Church) - "COD ABUNDANCE” -- Historian Karen Alexander presents an analysis of codfish distribution in the New England fisheries during the mid-1800s.


October 23 - 7:00 (Federated Church) - "REBELS IN CASCO BAY: A Daring Maritime Raid in Yankee Land" -- Historian Paul Colburn talks about the night Confederate soldiers came up the coast and boarded the Union revenue cutter Caleb Cushing for an attack on Portland harbor.


November 20 - 7:00 (Federated Church) - "A COUNTRY LAWYER: Abner Oakes and the Rum Rebellion" - Wendy Pirsig tells how a judicious young Maine attorney handled cases from small claims to arson and murder during South Berwick’s frightening crime wave of the mid-1800s.
