Everywhere You Looked In Akron Ohio's 61st Soap Box Derby National Race..You Saw A Mainer Wearing This Familiar Shirt. All the Maine Race Cities Worked Together To Make Our Presence Known. A Pre-Race Meeting At The Samoset In Rockland Helped Prepare Derby Champions For The Big Event. Each Year Maine Derby Racers Become More And More Competitive! Stock and Super Stock Cars From Houlton,
Camden and Bangor Were Shipped Together To Save Money And
Keep Them Together. Then In Akron, Derby Champs From Gardiner and South Portland Met For "Strategy Sessions". It Was An Experience These Drivers And Their Families Will Never Forget! Derby Racing..It Gets In Your Blood..The Thrill Of The Hill Is A Wonderful Family Event!
