Friends of the Royal River

Mission

To promote grassroots public awareness of the Royal River and its Watershed and to ensure its protection for generations to come.

Goals

  • To promote public participation in the conservation of the Royal River Watershed
  • To monitor and protect water quality and wildlife habitat
  • To preserve the scenic, historic, and ecological integrity of the Royal River Watershed
The Royal River Watershed is part of the Casco Bay Watershed in Southern Maine.

Friends of The Royal River Membership

Friends of The Royal River is an all volunteer organization that depends on contributions from individuals, businesses, and other organizations to fund all our programs and newsletters. Annual dues of members comprise a significant portion of our budget. Your tax-deductible membership and contributions will help us continue our efforts and expand our work on behalf of the Royal River and its watershed. Membership and donations are accepted throughout the year. Members receive mailings concerning special events and the biannual newsletter.
